We are a transport company that proudly offers a dedicated, secure, fast, quality, time critical delivery service. We provide a Same Day delivery and Next Day delivery courier service throughout Maidstone, Kent, throughout the UK, Europe and even Worldwide. Our list of services include envelopes, packages and parcel delivery, large boxes, bulky items, food items, temperature controlled or frozen items as well as pallets and large bespoke items requiring specialist lift equipment.
JDL have been established for over 19 years and our niche is to provide secure, reliable and cost-effective same day and next day delivery services, as well as pallet and international services. Here at JDL we have a range of different vehicles available to meet your delivery requirements, ranging from cars, bikes, through to small, medium, large and XLWB vans including Temperature Controlled, Curtain Siders, Tail Lifts and Flat Beds right up to 7.5, 18 ton & HIAB lorries!
How it all started
JDL started from humble beginnings back in 2001 from a small bedroom with just one van and a bike.
We were very proud to take on Gucci as our first client moving their high value shipments around the UK. Very soon the word spread about our reliable competitively priced service and we started winning many other clients including major construction companies as they had a requirement for the delivery of time critical Tenders and Kent Police who had the requirement for secure delivery of confidential documents.
Times have changed significantly as have the way we are able to operate and the range of goods that we can carry. We now operate a large fleet of tracked vehicles including Small, Medium and large vans including, Tail lifts, Flatbeds and Curtain siders. We are also able to provide HIAB and HGV deliveries. Our drivers have the latest technology with an App based system allowing us to provide our customers with proof of delivery which updates in real time.
We also have a fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles, so we can deliver, Chilled, Frozen, Ambient and Fresh products too and we provide our services to the food and pharmaceutical industries.
We never forget you have a choice so you will find our staff friendly, helpful, courteous, and professional. We like to say that we are big enough to cope but small enough to care!

What are your opening hours?
Our office is manned between 06:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. We also operate an out of hours service on a pre-booked basis.
How can I obtain a Proof of Delivery?
We can provide confirmation/proof of delivery by phone, email and online. Simply let us know your preferred method.
What information do I need to get a quote?
For an accurate quotation, we will require the collection and delivery post codes, the weight and dimensions of the consignment, contact names and numbers and size of vehicle required. If you are unsure of which size of vehicle you need, please get in touch. We’d be happy to help.
Do I need to have an account?
No, you can pay by card, BACS or cash! We can provide account facilities for business customers with regular requirements.
